The Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) is part of the TLS, and one of the leading research groups in Europe at the intersection of law, technology, and society. It is premised on the multidisciplinary study of socio-technical change, aiming at understanding the interaction of technology and social and normative practises, to clarity how regulatory challenges of socio-technical change can be addressed. Standardization and certification are integral part of various research programs of TILT. In the curriculum of course taught by TILT staff, various legal, regulatory, and economic aspects of standardization and certification are covered.   


Role in the project:

TiU contributes to the pilot of in-company training (led by TU/e), developing and implementing in-company courses and in situ professional learning sessions, and the validation of the teaching concept more generally under Work Package Implementation, and tasks under other Work Packages responsible for specifying gaps in standardization education and developing policy recommendations.
