Description:

The Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI carries out research for practical applications in seven competence centers with a total of 28 business units and aims to be an independent thought leader supporting society, politics and business. In its work, it not only applies a broad spectrum of advanced scientific theories, models, methods and social science assessment tools, but also continuously develops these using the empirical findings from the research projects carried out.
Edu4Standards.eu’s specific partner is the Business Unit Innovation and Regulation. Its head, our project coordinator Prof. Dr. Knut Blind, has a research track record in standardisation of more than 20 years, more than 15 years of teaching experience in standardisation and he is also Chairman of the working group “STAndards, Innovation and Research” (STAIR) at CEN-CENELEC.

 

 


Role in the project:

FhG ISI coordinates this project and is also responsible for several additional tasks. This means, in particular, responsibility for:

Task 1.1: Technical and administrative coordination
Task 3.6: Pilot of lifelong learning: the Pan-European EARTO pilot
Task 4.2: Development of a Consensus-based European Workshop Agreement
