Short bio
Emma Glass is the University Partnerships Manager in the Knowledge Solutions division of the British Standards Institution (BSI).
She is responsible for engaging with universities in healthcare, AI and innovation to promote participation and raise awareness of standards and standards development. Recent work includes developing an educational program for Biomedical Engineering students on the value of standards in healthcare and leading BSI’s response to the AI Safety Summit 2023, with endorsement from the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology.
Prior to working at BSI, Emma launched new open-access science journals in digital health, nuclear medicine and radiology. She also authored Central Banking Publication’s Big Data Focus Report in 2016 and 2017 and was Editor of the Central Bank Directory. Emma has a degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter.
