Short bio
Karl-Heinz Mayer is Director of Innovation, Services and Technical Platforms Power Management &
Control Components (PMCC) Division and member of the extended management board.
Since 2009 he has been a member of the extended management team as Technical Director of Eaton Industries (Austria) GmbH and therefore primarily responsible for Innovation, Standardization and Program Management. Prior to this, Karl-Heinz has been technical director for research and development, product management, production equipment design, maintenance team for Schrems, and quality assurance at Moeller Gebäudeautomation GmbH from 2006 to 2009, and before engineering manager for MCBs, MCCBs and enclosures for five years. He began his career at Felten & & Guilleaume in Austria, working for seventeen years as an engineer and project lead in a range of positions with increasing responsibility.
Karl-Heinz is chairman of the association Platform for Innovation with more than 150 members from small size till mid-size companies of more than 2000 employees to improve innovation in Europe’s society.
Additionally, he acts as a site leader for the location Vienna with 180 employees (responsible for all national and Viennese administrative law) and as a general manager for trade law.
