Short bio
Senior civil servant at the Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ) since 1997, having worked for 18 years in the Metrology Department in the Metrological Domains: Length, Roughness, Angle and Realization of the ITS-90 (Thermometry).
Has been working in the standardization department of the national standardization body (IPQ), since 2016, as a project manager for several national mirror committes from European
Committee for Standardization/European Electrotechnical Committee for Standardization (CEN- CENELEC) and International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Comission (ISO/IEC).
Member of CEN and CLC/BTS BTWG 3 “Standardization, Innovation and Research (STAIR) and Member of CEN and CLC/BTS BTWG 12 “Harmonized Standards and the European Regulatory Framework”.
