Andreas Jenet

Andreas, with a PhD from ETH Zurich and over 20 years of experience in international organizations, is co-leader of the “Innovation in science and policymaking” portfolio, one of the 33 programmes of the JRC.
He coordinates the Open Labs initiative at the Joint Research Centre, which facilitates access to JRC laboratories for academia, industries, and research organizations. As the JRC's contact for standardisation, he co-authored the EU Standardisation Strategy, initiated Putting Science Into Standards workshops, and co-founded the EU Excellence Hub for standardisation.
