Short bio

Claire, originally from Wales and of double French and British nationality, joined ETSI in 1992. She is currently the Director for Membership Development and is also responsible for ETSI’s Education about ICT Standardization programme, which is currently being enhanced with additional resources.

Previously, she managed the Membership Care team, the ETSI Forapolis service (a service that provided a full range of support and management services to associations) and ETSI external relations. Before that, she assumed technical project management responsibilities in Emergency Telecommunications, Lawful Interception, Electronic Signatures, Safety, Speech recognition and Quality of Service committees.
Claire played a vital role in founding the ETSI Emergency Telecommunications group. She was also active in launching an International Partnership Project to standardize a Mobile Broadband System for the Public Safety sector.  
At Forapolis, she specialized in start-up endeavours and was instrumental in promoting both Forapolis and its partners’ activities.

Before working at ETSI, she spent several years as a manager in hospitality businesses.
