Description of the project
The Swedish Institute for Standards (SIS) is Sweden's national, non-profit standards body, representing the country in international groups like ISO and CEN, developing and publishing standards across sectors (quality, environment, IT, healthcare) to boost Swedish competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability by facilitating collaboration, providing training, and ensuring best practices are shared nationally and globally
Connection to Edu4standards
- Academic Standards Day - Sweden: The event was hosted at the premises of the Swedish Institute for Standards (SIS) and organised together with University of Skövde and support from the National Committee, SEK Svensk Elstandard. Students came from several different universities and were met with refreshments and introduced to standardisation by young professionals from SIS and SEK who also shared their personal career path after university.
A workshop during the event where students were divided in groups to discuss a specific case, the lunch and mingling opportunities, promotion of the event on instagram and follow up e-mail to all students who registered to bring a friend, engaging with universities in a 2h travel distance from the event.
