The Ente Italiano di Normazione (UNI), is a private non-profit organisation with over a century of experience in crafting, publishing, and promoting the voluntary technical standards that shape our world.
Officially recognised by the Italian Government and the European Union, they foster an inclusive environment. They connect experts, industry leaders, consumers, academics, and institutions to co-create a powerful, shared repository of knowledge.
Connection to Edu4standards
- Academic Standards Day - Italy: The Italian ASD took place in Milano on 9 May 2025 at the headquarters of the Italian standardization organisation, UNI.
The day was organised together with Politecnico di Milano and focussed on the role of standardization in the circular economy. To promote the day representatives of UNI visited Politecnico di Milano prior to the event to raise the interest. To further incentivise students. Diverse industry collaboration with both bigger renown companies and SMEs, collaborating with a Horizon Europe project within the topic allowed for an alternative industry perspective.
