Description of the projects
StandICT.eu aims to support European involvement in global ICT standardisation, offering funding and resources to experts in this field. It has developed also a Training Academy with educational material focused on ICT standardisation.
Connection to Edu4standards
EDU4Standards and StandICT.eu are formally linked as synergy projects. The StandICT.eu site lists EDU4Standards with explicit cooperation on information sharing, alignment on Standards Academy initiatives, and inclusion of the StandICT.eu Standards Academy in the EDU4Standards teaching repositories.
In practice, this has translated into: cross-promotion of training resources (EUOS Academy listed in the EDU4Standards teaching repositories), shared messaging on education in ICT standardisation, and joint visibility in multi-project initiatives such as the “Women in ICT Standardisation” webinar series, where EDU4Standards appears alongside StandICT.eu as a co- organising project.
