Mapping Standardisation Education Across Europe

EDU4Standards has launched its Standardisation Education Offers Map, a new interactive tool showing where and how standardisation is taught in universities across Europe.

Courses exist, programmes exist, good practice exists, but scattered across institutions and organisations, and often invisible beyond national borders. The map brings this picture together in one place.

Built from data submitted directly by universities and standardisation bodies, it currently covers Austria, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, with entries ranging from dedicated standardisation modules to broader courses that integrate standards into engineering, business and technology curricula. Each entry offers a concrete reference point for teachers designing new content or benchmarking their own offer.

We are now inviting universities, teachers, standardisation bodies and other organisations delivering standardisation education across Europe to contribute. Adding a course takes a few minutes through our short form, and every submission strengthens the map's value as a shared, European resource, one that grows more useful with each new entry.

This is more than a directory. It is a live picture of how standardisation education is taking shape across Europe, and a foundation for the community-driven approach EDU4Standards has started.
