Experts from EDU4Standards.eu recently took part in a high-level international workshop hosted by the University of Chile, organised under the InDiCo-Global 1st Open Call funded project “High Impact Workshops for Knowledge Exchange Between Chile and Europe on Standardisation Initiatives.”
Dr Vladislav Fomin (Vilnius University) shared insights from the Innovative Teaching Concept of Standardisation (ITCoS), developed within EDU4Standards.eu, while Dr Irene Kamara (Tilburg University) addressed legal aspects of standardisation in AI, cybersecurity, and privacy.
This collaboration highlighted the strong synergy between EDU4Standards.eu and InDiCo-Global, both of which are committed to advancing standardisation efforts—EDU4Standards through education and capacity building, and InDiCo-Global through global collaboration and support for standardisation initiatives, particularly in ICT.
Together, the two initiatives reinforce European values in standardisation, contribute to capacity building, and strengthen policy influence at both European and global levels. By leveraging their networks, they create new opportunities for mutual learning and increased visibility of standardisation as a critical driver for digital trust, innovation, and cooperation.
