Dublin City University was founded in 1981 and comprises over 19,000 students including over 2800 postgraduate students, of whom around 1000 are research students. DCU is ranked #23 in the world for graduate employment rate, with over 128 different nationalities. The University is consistently ranked among the top young universities globally. DCU and the ADAPT Centre are driving the ICT Standards agenda in Ireland and in Europe through several projects, programmes and initiatives in Educational programmes and ICT Standardisation.
DCU is responsible for the Experts Advisory Group (EAG) along with giving support to a number of the tasks within the Edu4Standards.eu. Delivering updates and activities to the EAG , obtaining expert advice throughout the lifecycle of the project.
