From 24 to 26 June, the University of Graz will host the 30th edition of the annual EURAS conference.
For years, EURAS conferences have provided the necessary tools to translate scientific research on standards into practical applications for the industrial world.
In an ever-evolving geopolitical landscape, the study of standards is fundamental to ensure Europe's capacity to defend the competitiveness of its Single Market, supporting at the same time its values related to sustainability and ethics.
Precisely for this reason, this specific edition of the EURAS conference will focus on value-based Standardisation.
In line with its mission to promote standardisation education in Europe, EDU4Standards will actively participate in the event with a formal presentation of a research paper, officially accepted by the EURAS scientific committee, entitled “Standardisation: A Catalyst for the Green and Digital Transition”, by Simone Wurster, Sebastian Vogel, Irina Tal, Rita Meneses, Luana Ladu, Bernard Gindroz, Kirsten Glennung, Erwin Schoitsch, Lieven Demolder, Nizar Abdelkafi, and Greet Van Eetvelde.
Furthermore, EDU4Standards will have the opportunity to showcase its results on the ground through an interactive scientific poster presentation and, finally, by conducting its own workshop entitled “Initial Validation of Edu4Standards.eu Project Results: Identifying the Degree of Students’ Knowledge about Professional and Ethical Standards”, by Vladislav Fomin, Rimvydas Laužikas, and Adam Kiczko.
