EDU4Standards at the EDTECH Conference 2025

The EdTech Conference 2025, held on 30 October in Brussels, brought together key stakeholders from across Europe to showcase innovative educational technologies, highlight success stories, and explore emerging trends in the digital transformation of education. The event served as a meeting point for policymakers, educators, students, EdTech companies, and investors to exchange ideas and foster collaboration towards a more connected European education ecosystem.

In this occasion, the EDU4Standards project had the pleasure of participating in this event, which was dedicated to advancing Europe’s EdTech landscape and driving innovation in education.

The conference addressed essential topics such as skills development in a digital Europe, public–private partnerships advancing European EdTech, and collaboration between universities and technology providers to shape the future of learning.

Beyond the engaging panel discussions and interactive sessions, one of the highlights was the Demo Zone, where EDU4Standards had the opportunity to discover innovative EdTech solutions and emerging trends in the education landscape, present and promote the project to a diverse audience and, mainly, highlight its two ongoing initiatives:

  •  the EDU4Standards Open Call for Pilots, which invites teachers/trainers, groups of teachers/trainers, institutions of any sector, all from the EU or (Horizon Europe) associated countries to propose educational pilot projects that promote the use and understanding of standards;
  • the Academic Standards Days, which engage the academic community to strengthen the link between education and standardisation.

The conference provided a valuable platform to exchange insights, explore synergies, and create new opportunities within the European education and EdTech ecosystem.

Organisations interested in contributing to the integration of standards in education are invited to learn more about the EDU4Standards Open Call for Pilots and the Academic Standards Days on our website.
