New Paper on Standardisation Education Published by EDU4Standards Partners

A new paper authored by EDU4Standards partners Kęstutis Mosakas, Vladislav Fomin, Hristina Preskakuleva Veljanova, Barbara Reiter, Elisabeth Staudegger, David Bierbauer, and Oksana Kuzmuk has been published in Springer Nature’s Ethics and Information Technology journal.

The article, “Bringing values to standardisation: from policy concepts to a value-based framework for education about standardisation”, examines the limited presence of standardisation in higher education, despite its role in supporting innovation, trust, and sustainability.

The authors propose the Innovative Teaching Concept of Standardisation (ITCoS), a framework designed to integrate standardisation into university curricula and address this gap.

This publication contributes to the broader discussion on how higher education can prepare graduates for the requirements of Europe’s digital and sustainable economy.
